Is there any particular reason that posts are restricted to only two hyperlinks? I found that pretty restrictive and annoying after I spent time linking and referencing things in my first post on this forum.
Discourse's model is to limit activities by new users to reduce spam. After spending a bit of time on the site you gain trust points that allow you to post attachments, more than 2 links, etc. See: https://meta.discourse.org/t/what-do-user-trust-levels-do/4924

Indeed that is annoying, and something I hadn't run across. @noamross thanks for the info on how to fix it. I'll make that change.
It's now set to 4 links for new users, but as your trust goes up, you can add more links. As @noamross said, it's to avoid spamming. Post here if it continues to be an issue though.
